Tragic accident with boat causes the death of two foreign tourists in Devil’s Tear, Bali


Two tourists died when a boat that was overturned in the waters west of Devil’s Tear, Nusa Lembongan, Klungkung Regency, Bali, on Monday (Sept. 16, 2019).

According to local authorities both were found dead at 10:45.

Balawista Nusa Lembongan Post Head Winaya said, the two victims namely a woman named Caval Heir O Biron (48) from Brazil and a man named Victor Johannes Allers (43) from South Africa. "After an examination by the medical team, the victim was declared dead," Winaya said on Monday.

Meanwhile, the captain of the ship who survived the incident named Suadak from Banyuwangi, East Java. The Winaya confirmed that the ship was carrying only two passengers who were known to have died. Now, both bodies have been evacuated to the Nusa Penida II Health Center. Meanwhile, the captain of the ship is still in care at East Medical Care Lembongan.
