Bob McTavish

Inventor of the bottom V , surfer and designer , Australian Bob McTavish is a key figure in the history of surfing. Originally from Queensland , he began surfing at the age of 12 years and three years later he moved to Sydney and began shaper . Before becoming one of the first surfers to give up the competition to dedicate to shape and free surf , he excelled in Australian contests, becoming national vice-champion in 1966.
